Definition

A drug used to treat adults with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, small lymphocytic lymphoma, or mantle cell lymphoma that was treated with at least two other types of therapy, including a BTK inhibitor. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Jaypirca blocks a protein called BTK, which may help keep cancer cells from growing. It is a type of tyrosine kinase inhibitor.
