Glucarpidase is a bacterial enzyme that helps break down and remove methotrexate from the body. It may also help certain drugs kill cancer cells. Glucarpidase is a type of chemoprotective agent and a type of prodrug activator. Also called carboxypeptidase-G2 and Voraxaze.
